Anna Argenté

Born to a Catalan father and Chinese-Macanese mother, I was raised in Hong Kong, British Columbia, and the Silicon Valley. I’ve always been fueled by music and movement. Since childhood, it has been a passion of mine to push myself physically through direct vs. indirect means of motion to produce a story in a meaningful way. I have trained in a multitude of movement styles with top industry choreographers, while focusing on developing my career in the film/TV space.

I have trained with renowned choreographer Shay Latukolan and his iconic faculty at Shay Program Vol. 8 in Amsterdam, Netherlands. I most recently was cast in Brazilian DJ Alok’s 2025 Coachella performances by Urban Theory x Elektrobotz, and was asked to dance on stage with Tyla during her performance at the same festival. 

After 4 years at Amazon MGM Studios as a Creative Development Executive for the Pan-English TV SVOD team (fka. MGM International TV Productions), I developed an array of internationally acclaimed series, such as EL FIN DEL AMOR (Prime Video) and MARIACHIS (MAX) - both of which were recognized with award nominations in the LATAM space. I specialize in developing with EU/UK/LATAM co-productions, book adaptations, as well as ensuring a domestic audience can relate to a story’s universal themes and dynamic characters. I am now operating as an Independent Producer to create various formats for both domestic and international. These commercial and indie features, shorts, and dance concept video projects will be either taken to market or go into production later this year.

Meanwhile, I am always exploring how to create safe community spaces for more dance and culture to flourish as an electronic DJ in the music collective Camp Butter that I founded with a chosen family of California-based artists & electronic dance music lovers who like to ~ slide more ~

I have also completed my 200-hour Yoga Alliance teacher training at Ulu Yoga, in Uluwatu, Bali, and most recently completed 50-hour Next Level Leadership and 16-hour “Sculpt & Flow” yoga teacher trainings with Leah Zaccaria and Morgan Zion. As an avid movement teacher, I aim to create a supportive and challenging environment for my students to reach their fullest potential with positivity, grace, and a great music selection. 

Fluent in English and Spanish languages, I call Venice, CA, my current home.
